Real Weddings - Carie & James

Check out these lovely photos from Carie and James' recent wedding celebration. I worked with Carie several months ago on creating some monogram designs for her to use as special accents for their special day. Well, Carie and James just recently tied the knot and were so kind to share a few photos from their wedding with me and of course, I just had to share them here with all of you! I absolutely love the way that she incorporated one of their monogram designs for a cute favor label for the adorable popcorn treats that they gave to their guests. I think that this is such a neat and fun idea!

New Save-the-Date Design - Lauren and Matthew

I have a ton of projects to post and I am also working on many, many projects currently, but I just couldn't wait to post these "Delovely" new save-the-date designs that I just completed for Lauren and her fiance, Matthew. I am in love with everything about this design from the gorgeous color palette consisting primarily of varying shades of pretty pink tones accented with classic, crisp white tones to the stunning damask background details, flourish embellishments and oh-so lovely script font showcased in this design. Lauren was absolutely fabulous to work with and I just love the engagement photo that she provided of herself and Matthew along with their beloved pooch! They are such a cute couple and I wish them the best of luck with all of their wedding plans and I just know that they will have an amazingly magical day when their wedding finally arrives next spring!

Fantastic New Resource for Brides

I just have to share the fantastic new resource that the ladies over at Elizabeth Anne Designs just recently launched. Their blog has been one of my favorites for quite some time now, but they have raised the bar yet again with the addition of this new resource. It is called the EAD Library and is filled with a spectacular list of vendors to help you with your wedding planning needs. I am both honored and very fortunate to have been included on their fabulous new list and highly recommend that you check it out as it truly is an expansive list of the best and most talented individuals in the wedding industry today!

Bachelorette Party Invitation Design - IHO Danielle

I absolutely adore this perfectly flirty bachelorette party invitation design that I created for Danielle's upcoming bachelorette party. I have worked on numerous projects with Danielle for her upcoming wedding and am actually in the process of working on several more as well, but on these designs I worked with her good friend Jessica who is actually hosting the bachelorette party. Jessica mainly wanted something fun and appropriate for the ocassion, but in general was very open to giving me creative control for this project. (which I always LOVE by the way) We did chat about a few different options just to get some ideas rolling initially and after that, I truly just ran with it and put together this sassy little number! I was more than pleased, (okay, completely escastic actually) about the way the invitations came out and was even more thrilled that Jessica loved them as much as I did as well! I hope that Danielle has a wonderful time out with her best of friends and I cannot wait to hear all about their fabulous night out on the town!

This was actually a second set of monogram designs that I recently created for Deanna and Rick because they decided to change their wedding color palette and also decided that they wanted different designs to go with their new palette and them. I just love the soft blue and celadon green tones!! I think my favorite in this set is the Love Is Sweet circle monogram though...so cute and flirty!

I have been incredibly lucky to have had the pleasure in working with the owners of this amazing and ingenious company on different projects, including revamping their company logo and creating a spectacular postcard design, that will be used during their initial launch phase. I am thrilled about their upcoming premiere and in knowing that Garage Sale Genius is going to be a phenomenal success.

Martha Stewart Weddings - Collector's Edition

Martha Stewart Weddings Collector's Edition was released on the stands a while back and is chocked full of gorgeous wedding inspirations to make your day absolutely incredible! I picked up my very own copy about 3 weeks ago and have looked at it probably several dozen times now myself! There are even some awesome ideas about how to personalize your wedding by using monogram details and other unique details. I would definitely recommend picking up a copy if you have a chance as it truly is filled with some of the most gorgeous floral and decor, cakes, stationery and other spectacular wedding details for your special day!

Wedding Monogram Designs - Jamie and Michael

These are some custom monograms that I recently created for Jamie and Michael for their upcoming wedding this fall. We did three different designs all slightly similar, yet different, and they will be using them for different elements throughout their wedding. To coordinate with this couple's wedding color palette we used subtle platinum tones with accents of a darker charcoal and then accents of a vivid purple and apple green on one of the designs that will be used to adorn their out of town amenity bags. Jamie also really wanted to include a special Hebrew saying from her invitation design, so we also included that in two of the designs as well. I truly love these designs and think that the final results are very elegant and provide an extremely unique and sophisticated look.

I just absolutely adore this cute little favor label that I created for Emily and Jason's upcoming wedding. They will be using the labels I printed for them to embellish the favor that they will be giving to each of their guests at their wedding reception. I just know that their guests are going to love it, too!!

One of my absolute favorite wedding related sites these days is the fabulous Weddings & Celebrations blog. Tara is the mastermind behind this spectacular site and I just love all of the incredible ideas, photos, wedding and event related information and other fabulous finds that she shares on her site. I especially love her weekly feature "Freakin' Fabulous Photo Friday"...she always has some great pics to share. Besides all of the eye candy on her site, Tara is an amazingly sweet and genuine person and has been so kind to feature Delovely Designs on her site a few times as well. She is a wedding and an event planner based out of Atlanta and I cannot wait to work with her on some amazing projects for some of her brides in the future. New Monogram & Label Design - Rachel & William

This project had to be one of my absolute favorites so far as I just completely adore this monogram that I designed for Rachel and William for their upcoming spring 2009 wedding. This couple's theme for their special day is "Meant to bee" and they are including precious little honeybee's as their signature motif. Rachel and William are doing all of the wedding decor in sharp black and white tones with splashes of a vibrant sunny yellow tone for a fabulous pop of color thoughout their wedding. I designed a monogram for them as well as printed favor labels / stickers and water bottle labels for their special day. I just know that their favors are going to be so cute as they are giving out specialty honey in petite vintage glass jars and will be using the labels on the front of each jar for a personalized touch. Below are the final results of the monogram that I used for their labels as well as the final water bottle label design. Rachel and William LOVED them so much and I do too!
