Custom Monograms - Cristina and Nicholas

A few months back, Cristina contacted me to design some custom monograms for her December wedding to be taking place in Austin, Texas. She wanted to include a Christmas tree and Spanish letterpress inspired elements in some of the designs and had specifically mentioned her fondness for the traditional lighting of the Zilker Park Christmas tree. I decided to create a couple of designs for her including an image of the actual Zilker park tree that I altered giving it an artistic appeal that coordinated with the design quite perfectly. I also also decided to include a traditional Christmas tree in one of the designs and also included some Spanish styled fonts and graphics in a few of the other designs. While I created quite a few monogram designs for Cristina and Nicholas, these are by far my favorites that I designed for their special day!

Pretoria Castle Business Card Design

As promised, I am thrilled to share the final designs for Pretoria Castle's new business cards! For their business card design I decided to go for a simple, elegant appeal using muted tones of light gray for the background of the design and their signature deep violet and soft lilac tones for the text and their logo design. My favorite part of these designs is the subtle fleur di lis graphics that I included in the background design on the back of the card. I'm absolutely thrilled with the final results!

Our Family Holiday Card

Now that they've been mailed and hopefully, received by our closest family and friends, I thought I'd share the design that I created for our family holiday card this year. We included a few pics from Hudson's one year photo session with Erin Ross of A Thousand Words Photography and I just absolutely love the way the pictures and the final card design came out! I'm already itching to begin more designs for next year!!!

We decided to center the designs around a winter elegance theme and utilized snowflakes and a modern crackled effect as the inspiration behind the designs. Wedded Winter Bliss

When executed appropriately, classic winter white tones can provide an elegant and completely breathtakingly magical appeal when used in mass for all of the floral and other design elements. In this stunning winter fete of a wedding showcased on Brides.com, a striking arrangement designed within an elite glass urn and consisting of a cascading pave of soft off-white toned roses provides a fabulous focal point for the buffet station. For further dramatic appeal and additional elements of texture, color and form, the fabulous arrangement is most wonderfully accented with interesting floral designs using fabulous textured foliage and floral blossoms such as the delicate Lamb's Ear lined vases filled with fragrant tight Lily buds. I absolutely love the lucite platforms suspended overhead filled with glowing candlelight. I love the whimsical feel that was created by the usage of the charming words of love that were delicately applied to each cake. Ashwood Homes Business Card Design

Here is my latest completed project for Ashwood Homes. I mentioned previously that I was working on creating a business card design to compliment the logo and property signage designs that I recently created for the luxury home builder. Well, it is finally completed and I am thrilled to share it here on my blog! Their website is not up and running as of yet, but I will be sure to post updates later once everything has gone live.

I am still in the process of working on some prototype designs for holiday photo cards, however I did want to give a little "sneak-peek" of one of the upcoming designs below. New Monograms ~ Tamera & Kevin

Below are some vibrant and fun monograms that I recently designed for Tamera & Kevin for their upcoming wedding in May of next year. The bride and groom selected an awesome color palette of varying shades of bright pink tones that I absolutely love! I created several different designs for them and these were my favorites. I absolutely adore the flirty, yet very elegant appeal of these monograms especially the two round designs on the first row. I cannot wait to see pictures of these designs in action after the wedding!

Ashwood Homes Logo & Property Signage

Recently I was commissioned by Dustin Andrews of Ashwood Homes to create a company logo as well as a couple of other marketing peripherals for the luxury custom home builder. While we are currently still collaborating on a layout and design for their business cards, we have finalized the selection for their logo and property signage designs and below are the final results! It has truly been a wonderful experience working with Dustin and his wonderful wife, Brooke, and I am so thrilled to have been able to create these designs for them! I will post more later once their business cards are complete and will also provide a link to their new website once they have it up and running!

Pretoria Castle Logo

I mentioned a while back that I was working with Lilliana Vazquez and her partner, Lauren Merlino, to design a new logo for their custom luxury handbag line, Pretoria Castle. Well, the design is finally completed and I just wanted to share the final results. I absolutely love the way the design turned out, the ornate and delicate scroll pattern accented with a classic Fleur de lis was a perfect look to represent this pair of fashionistas and their fabulous handbags!

Hudson's Birthday Party Invitation

Here it is! The final version of the invitations that I sent out for Hudson's upcoming birthday party. For the actual constructed invitation, I printed this design onto white A6 flat panel cardstock and mounted it to a chartreuse green A7 flat panel cardstock backing. I think they turned out super cute and very appropriate for our little one's first birthday party!
