Wedding Stationary Items - Jennifer and Stephen

I recently created several different printed stationary items for Jennifer and Stephen's wedding. For this project, I designed and printed several items including a wedding reception dinner menu, candy buffet sign, favor tags and monogrammed labels / stickers. Jennifer wanted a very clean and classically elegant look for her designs and using her wedding tones of ivory and deep chocolate brown I created the following designs for her and Stephen's special day. I absolutely loved working with Jennifer and thought that everything turned out incredibly beautiful and elegant in the end.

Above left - the menu design jpg
Above right - the printed menu design printed on 80# ivory cover card stock
(excuse the picture quality as the picture is obviously a bit crooked and the lighting was also a bit off as well, oops!)

Above - The candy buffet sign printed on ivory cardstock which I then mounted behind an ivory photo matte with a deep chocolate brown inner matte border.

Above - the favor tag design - Jennifer and Stephen made a donation for their guests in lieu of a favor and used this tag / card at each place setting at their reception.

Above - the monogram that I created and used for Jennifer's printed round labels.

A Vintage Glamour Inspired Wedding

I am completely in love with these pictures from Monika and Nicholas' vintage glamour inspired wedding taken by Jessica Claire Photography. In fact, I love all of Jessica's work and think that she is such a talented and innovative photographer. Her website-blog is one of my absolute favorite photography sites and truly, one of my favorite sites in general. More pictures of Monika and Nicholas' wedding as well as countless other masterpieces can be found here.

New Reception Menu Card Design - Kristina and Daniel

Check out these lovely menu card designs that I recently created for Kristina and Daniel's upcoming wedding. I created a very clean, sleek and elegant design for this special couple and accented the menu card with a touch of femininity by using the delicate flourishes on each corner of the design. The proof below is in black and white tones primarily, however Kristina will be having these professionally printed and will have the final design printed in a pretty color palette of dusty pink and celadon green hues for a fresh, flirty appeal for their summer wedding.

New Wedding Invitation Design - Deborah and David

I was recently contacted by Deborah to create an invitation, rsvp and monogram design for her and her fiance's upcoming wedding. Deborah wanted a floral motif for her design and had selected a bold and vibrant color palette of strong purple tones, sunny yellow hues and a rich brown tone for her wedding colors. She also wanted to include a sassy graphic on the rsvp card to embellish the entree selection portion of the design and thought it would be novel to include some unique graphics for each selection. I absolutely love the final results of the designs and cannot wait to hear about how fabulous their upcoming wedding turns out! Below is the special design that I created for this couple's very special day!

New Company Logo Design - Bellini Events

I was recently contacted by Alicia Garcia to create a new logo design for her newly developed event planning company, Bellini Events. Alicia wanted a design that would translate well in marketing for both her social / bridal clients as well as for her corporate event clientele and was looking for something fun, but also elegant....something that would attract the appropriate clientele and look eye-catching, but not trendy either. With that in mind, we collaborated on the design concept and decided to focus on creating a design that exuded a modern vintage appeal of sorts and I believe that the final design is exactly just that! Alicia selected a dramatic chocolate brown type tone for the text within the design and we brought it to life with vibrant persimmon orange toned flourishes for a perfect splash of color within the logo. I absolutely adore this design and Alicia loves her new logo as well. I cannot wait to see the design once she has her website up and running and her marketing materials completed as I know it will look absolutely fabulous!

More with Preston Bailey...

I mentioned the Evening of Luxury with Preston Bailey event yesterday and wanted to share a few pics from the fabulous evening. It was a long night starting with a VIP reception at 5 pm, followed by a general open reception between 6 - 8 pm, Preston Bailey's presentation from 8 - 9 pm and then a few of us popped into Nobu for a bit for some cocktails. There was a lot of food, wedding cake, cocktails and fun, and of course, gorgeous floral, lighting and event decor. It was a lot of fun and was filled with brides-to-be and the many of the most talented industry professionals in the metroplex. From everything I saw that evening, I think that a good time was had by everyone!

Meeting An Icon...

Yesterday was a very long and eventful day and I didn't get home until late so I didn't have the time to post, but I had an absolutely fabulous time at a wedding event that I attended at the Hotel Crescent Court last night. I got to meet Preston Bailey, floral and event design guru, and even took a picture with him after his presentation! It was very cool and I will definitely post pics and more about the event later today or later this week. Everything was incredibly gorgeous, the food was absolutely delish and of course, the plethora of cocktails kept the party going strong till the end. Here are a few pictures of some of Preston's creations along with a picture of Preston himself, who I amazingly learned last night is 59 years young! Can you believe it?!?! He looks absolutely amazing for his age and is definitely very energetic and fit. He is such an incredibly talented and creative genius!

New Company Logo Design - AprilMayJune Designs

I recently created a new logo design for April for her floral design company, AprilMayJune Designs and I just couldn't wait to share the final design here as I absolutely love, love, love the way that her new logo turned out. April is in the process of completely revamping her website and wanted a new logo to showcase and help tie the new look all-together. With classicly elegant black and white tones and a perfect splash of a fresh, crisp green tone the logo is definitely a dramatic design that is very eye-catching. I, of course, had to include some floral design elements in the logo since that is what April's company is all about - beautiful flowers for every ocassion and yes, her work is gorgeous! I decided to use an elegant damask trim around the perimeter of the design and a pop of whimsical floral accents within the center of the logo to acheive a nice balance of a clean, yet modern appeal. April loved the final results and I personally cannot wait to see the new logo in action once her newly revamped website design is completed and up and running.

Magnet Save the Dates - LeAnne and Jason

I just completed a project for LeAnne and Jason that I had so much fun creating. I have previously created some monograms for LeAnne for her upcoming wedding and she contacted me recently to also create a design for her save the date magnets that she will be ordering from another vendor. Well, she had sent over an image for inspiration and I totally took off with the design and personally, I love it more than the original image that she even sent over! :) I just adore the two kissing love birds and thought that the design was such a cute, flirty and playful way for LeAnne and Jason to inform their family and friends about their upcoming wedding. LeAnne also plans on using a modified version that I created for her for her water bottle labels as well. I just love the magnet design though and couldn't wait to share!

Bundle of Joy - Baby Monograms

Having a bit of baby fever myself as of recent, I rather enjoy anything baby-related these days, so I just couldn't resist sharing these lovely baby monograms that I recently created for a glowing new mommy of two. Twins it was for Sabrina and she was twice blessed with a boy and a girl! I have changed the last name to a pseudo last name to protect the innocent. Congratulations, Sabrina, and welcome to the world little ones!

Not Just Your Average Table Number...

A simple way to add some personality, style and a pretty splash of color upon your tabletops at any wedding reception or event is to dress up your table numbers instead of going with the ho-hum standard black and white designs of the past. One perfect way is to still use the same concept of a classic table number card design, but add some interesting graphics in coordinating wedding /event tones to frame the sign and give it some extra oomph. You can even go one step further and display the numbers in a really chic frame, glass cylinder, lucite box or even a simple easel to give it a more polished look. Here are just a couple of examples of how a simple embellishment to frame the sign can perfectly complete your tabletop decor and provide a cohesive look throughout your event.

New Monogram & Water Bottle Label Design - Siobhan & Cory

I recently created these lovely cornflower blue and chocolate brown toned water bottle label and monogram designs for Siobhan and her fiance, Cory. I love anything damask and of course, think that it is such an elegant and pretty way to accent any wedding stationary or favor item.
