Custom Blog Header Design

Okay, so I have gotten a bit behind on updating the blog lately, but that's just because I have been incredibly busy! With that in mind, I will have many, many new projects to share over the upcoming weeks....I am actually quite excited too! I did want to go ahead and share a couple of custom blog headers that I have designed over the past couple of weeks. Custom blog header designs are a new service that I am offering and I would love to come up with a blog header designed exclusively for your blog. I actually already have a couple of other blog header designs in the works right now that I will share with you once they are complete!

The above design I recently created for April for her family blog. I LOVE the color combination of the cornflower blue and sleek white hues used as accents on a rich espresso brown toned background. I created this whimsical design solely based on April's request for something "swirly" and fun! I LOVE the way it turned out!

This header I created for my good friend Amy, for her newly launched marketing and promotions company blog. I created Amy's logo design a while back and decided that she must allow me to design her blog header for her as well, so that her logo could be showcased as it should be. :) I will be working closely with Amy in the future working on design projects such as custom logos and other marketing material designs for her clientele and I am absolutely thrilled to be involved in this awesome opportunity with Barnett Productions!

Custom Moving Announcements

I recently created a moving announcement postcard design for Kristin and her husband, Shane, to send to all of their family and friends to announce the recent purchase of their first home! Kristin wanted a design that was chic and elegant, yet still simplistic, and I believe that the end result is just that! The rich espresso brown and subtle ivory toned color palette provided a sophisticated and classic look that perfectly complemented the overall damask inspired patterns used within the background design. Here are the final results of the front of the card as well as the back of the card. I've also created a similar moving announcement design that I've included below as well. Don't you love the clever quote about home??? Kristin actually sent that quote to me and wanted to include it in the design and I have absolutely fallen in love with the idea of using these to adorn my moving announcement designs!

Custom Wedding Gown Label.....

A few months back, Jennifer contacted me to create some monogram designs for her upcoming wedding. I haven't shared the designs here as of yet, however, I am currently beginning the design process of creating a custom wedding invitation design for her and her fiance, Adam, and she actually emailed me something last night that I could not wait to share here! Jennifer has had a custom label made to have sewn inside of her wedding gown and this very special accent showcases one of my favorite designs that I created for her! Here is a little history first regarding the very unique and special designs that I created for Jennifer and Adam.

Jennifer and Adam are both very strong Christians and from the first couple of times that Jennifer and I corresponded she had mentioned that she wanted to include a symbol of their strong Christian faith within their monogram designs. I thought it was a wonderful idea and I was actually quite excited about designing something so personal for them. Well, the couple also happens to be very avid outdoor lovers and absolutely love fishing as a hobby as well, so with those two things in mind they wanted for me to create some special designs for them that would reflect both their Christian faith as well as their love for fishing. In the end we decided to use a collection of motifs including the Christian fish symbol as well as interesting fishing pole graphics for a truly unique look. Here is the lovely custom embroidered label that Jennifer will have sewn into her wedding gown. I just love it!

Vroom Vroom Baby....

Okay, I'm totally not a big diaper bag carrying momma, BUT with that being said, I am so loving this adorable diaper bag from Oliebollen. The vibrant racing car motif is just so much fun and is definitely all boy! I think any proud daddy would totally be up for toting this racing inspired bag around with their baby boy while out on the town!

Gwen and Patrick - Custom Monograms

Below are some of the custom monogram designs that I created a while back for Gwen and Patrick for their early Autumn wedding last year. The couple used a subtle Autumn theme for their wedding day accents and I created several designs for them using rich brown and creamy ivory tones to coordinate with their selected wedding color palette. The pictures below show how the couple used the monogram to adorn the outside cover of their ceremony program and also showcases the OOT box design that I created for them as well. I love the way the designs turned out and feel that they perfectly accent these special items used for their wedding day.

Daily Inspiration.....

I love this fabulous inspiration board that I found while perusing Snippet & Ink earlier today. I'm really hooked on vibrant yellow and green tones right now and I absolutely adore the use of these festive colors in this board. Possibly I am ready for spring and summer to arrive??

Queen of Cakes!

Sylvia Weinstock, also know as the Queen of Cakes, is renowned for making over-the-top, lavish wedding cakes sought after by the elite and featured as pieces of artwork at some of the most elegant and posh weddings across the country. Her fabulous creations are hard to miss and are so incredibly stunning that they are almost too pretty to eat! :) Here are a few pictures of some of her amazing delectable creations and also a picture of the wonderfully talented reigning cake diva herself!

Company Logo -- Hair by Nichole

A short while back I mentioned that I was working on a new company logo for Nichole White for her hairstyling business, well the designed is complete and I wanted to of course, share the final design here on my blog. The logo turned out better than either Nicole or myself could have ever hoped for and I just had so much fun designing such a different and impactful logo design for Nichole!

It's All About the Details...

Gone are the days of plain old white place cards with no personality or creative appeal. These days, the sky is the limit when it comes to these important details and it is becoming quite the trend to include a personalized touch when selecting your place cards. Below are just a few examples of how you can include your overall theme or color palette in your place cards in order to create a more cohesive and unique look throughout your reception. Do yourself a favor, give your placecards some extra love and get creative when selecting these special details for your wedding, you'll be glad that you did!

Coming Soon --- New Company Logo Design

I have been working on a custom logo design for Nichole White's personal hairstyling business and cannot wait to post the final results once the design is completed. The Heraldic inspired design has both an essence of that "Old World" heraldic appeal, somewhat reminiscent of a elegant coat of arms design, but this design also has a funky, modern touch for a truly elite look. I have to admit, I am so completely excited and inspired working on this logo project and cannot wait to share it here on my blog once the design in finalized.
