New Save The Date Design - Kathryn and Adam

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this fabulous save the date and accommodations insert design that I just recently completed for Kathryn and her fiance, Adam. Kathryn and I actually used to work together and have been friends ever since, so you can only imagine my excitement when she contacted my about creating her save the dates and other wedding stationery items for her upcoming nuptials. Let me just say, that I definitely had a ton of fun working on creating a really unique and quirky, vintage-inspired save the date for this very special couple and cannot wait to hear what her family and friends say about the design. To complete the edgy motif, a little Texas flair was also tossed into the mix with the use of a fabulous western inspired font. Don't you just love it?!?! The photo is actually one of their engagement photos taken by the uber-talented Kate Mefford of Juxtapose Photography and this particular photo was taken in downtown Dallas near the Neiman Marcus flagship store. New Save The Date Design - Katie and Chino

And now for something different....this is the save the date design that I recently completed for Katie and her fiance, Chino. Love, love, love the way this design came together and yes, it totally has a vintage throwback kind of feel to it and it certainly is a very unique and fun announcement that I had SO much fun creating as well. In fact, Katie emailed me just a couple of days ago to let me know that they have already sent to out the save the dates to their guests and immediately they starting receiving rave reviews from their family and friends about how much they loved them.

And this my friends, is why I love what I do. I cannot tell you how much I love it when my brides / clients are happy. I am always thrilled when I create something beautiful, but it just really seals the deal when they love it even more than I do. You just can't beat that. :)

Real Weddings - Kimberly and Brandon

This week's real wedding features photos from Kimberly and Brandon's recent wedding this past January. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the lovely Victorian House in Kaufman, Texas. I worked with Kimberly back in November of last year on some custom monogram designs for her and her fiance, Brandon, and I was so thrilled when their fabulous photographer, Lynn Michelle, emailed me a few weeks ago with photos from their special day. It definitely looks like this couple had an absolutely amazing wedding day and I loved all of the exquisite details and decor used throughout the wedding in gorgeous rich crimson tones. From the lush bouquet of scarlet red floral blossoms that the bride carried down the aisle to the monogram details on the ceremony program and reception menu to the fun candy buffet to the fireworks and sparkler send-off, every detail seems to have been used fabulously to truly make Kimberly and Brandon's day as special as possible. New Save The Date Design - Molly & Casey

I am completely in love with this save the date design that I recently created for Molly and her fiance Casey. This special couple is getting married late this summer and pretty much handed over entire creative control for the design of their save the dates, which I always love. Well, I took the few broad references that they had given to me for their save the dates and transformed those ideas into a design which I think is nothing less than simply elegant. I was absolutely thrilled to hear that they were head-over-heels excited about the design when they received the preliminary proof and I am even more excited myself to share it here with my readers.

New Wedding Invitation Suite - Mary and Kevin

Delicate and simply elegant, I absolutely adore this intricately embellished invitation suite that I recently designed for Mary and Kevin for their wedding this upcoming May. With soothing tones of soft aqua and seafoam green these invitations were designed to evoke a soft-slightly vintage feel through the lovely lace inspired motif used throughout the entire suite. I love the way that they turned out and cannot wait to see the final printed product.

Real Weddings - Jamie and Michael

At last, another gorgeous real wedding segment....these photos were so graciously shared with us by Jamie and her new groom, Michael. They got married this past October and I was absolutely thrilled to see Jamie's email containing these stunning photos in my inbox just a few weeks ago. I designed a few custom monogram designs for this special pair last summer and I definitely loved seeing how Jamie and Michael included one of those custom designs for a personal touch on several items on their special day! Hello Stranger...

Well, I know it's been a while since I have been posting regularly, but I have been very busy the past couple of weeks with finishing up a lot of  in-progress projects and now, have started to see the beginning of wedding season upon my horizon as well as countless new wedding monogram, invitation and other detail element inquiries come in everyday. I have numerous newly completed projects to share with you in the coming weeks as well as several real weddings segments with some gorgeous wedding photos submitted to me by some of my real brides. The first of which I will be sharing today along with a new standard stock monogram design as well. I am SO excited for spring as it is definitely wedding season and it makes me just giddy to think of all of the beautiful things I will be working on and sharing in the coming months, so I know I will only be getting busier in the coming months, but I will definitely try not to disappear for so long again in the future. :)
